As Crema Gourmet Expansion Continues, the Upper East Side Looks to Be Up Next

Located at 5700 Biscayne Boulevard, The Boulevard is an apartment complex boasting amenities like a rooftop pool and pool deck with vistas of the bay and the Miami skyline and access to nearby restaurants like Sushi Sake and Andiamo! Brick Oven Pizza.

Now, The Boulevard appears to be the future site of a new Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar, as plan review documents submitted by Crema Boulevard Corp show a new Crema Gourmet opening in Suite 103 at The Boulevard’s address.

The local cafe franchise has been showing rapid growth in recent years, mostly in its South Florida home, with a location in New York City too. Its website shows 16 locations currently in operation, plus another six in the works, which appear to include The Boulevard location (referred to simply as “Biscayne”).

Crema Gourmet’s all-day breakfast menu features dishes like the Greek Omelette and Feta Cheese & Tomato Scrambled Eggs, plus handhelds like the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich, Avocado Toast, and Salmon Bagel. Smoothies come in flavors like Red White & Blue (coconut water, strawberry, banana, blueberry) and Greek Stallion (kale, spinach, dates, chia seeds, almond milk, banana, cashews, cinnamon, mountain honey).

What Now reached out on Thursday to franchisee Vanessa Marichal to inquire about plans for a Crema Gourmet at The Boulevard. Marichal was not immediately available for comment, but What Now is awaiting further information.
