Boutique Gelato Brand Anita Gelato to Open Aventura Location

World-famous boutique gelato shop Anita Gelato has announced it will open a new location in Aventura next spring. The brand will start serving its 150 unique flavors—including vegan, soy-based, and sugar-free options—at 19001 Biscayne Blvd in April of next year.

“Following the overwhelming success of Anita Gelato’s in New York, Los Angeles and other locations worldwide, we are excited to bring our gelato to Florida,” Adi Avital, Co-Owner of Anita Gelato, said in a press release. “We take pride in producing the best Gelato, sorbet and yogurt. We include vegan, soy-based and sugar-free options so that everyone can experience a decadent indulgence.”

Anita Gelato has met with considerable international success, with sixteen branches around the world, in cities like Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Sydney, London, and Limassol. The brand comes, says the press release, “from humble beginnings in a small Mediterranean kitchen in 1998, where ‘Mamma del Gelato’ Anita and her youngest son would serve their hand-made gelato to delighted friends and neighbors.”

The brand’s flavors include Milk Chocolate & Salted Pretzel, Mascarpone & Strawberry, and White Chocolate & Pistachio Cream. With the opening of the Aventura location, these flavors (and many others) will be available for the first time in Florida, making Miami the third U.S. city (after New York and Los Angeles) that this international gelato brand will call home.
