Founded on the Jersey Shore in 2008 by Paul Altero and Bill Hart, Bubbakoo’s Burritos has expanded all over the country, blowing past the 100-location mark. Now, with two locations already operating in South Florida, local franchisee Suresh Prasad is preparing to launch a third in Boca Raton, at 119 W Palmetto Park Road #300.

“We’re hoping to open by November 1,” Prasad told What Now on Wednesday. Prasad says an opening was originally expected back in January, but permitting and other delays pushed the opening back. “But now we’re in full construction mode.”

Prasad and his team were looking for a franchise investment when they were introduced to Bubbakoo’s by a friend.

“We were looking for a brand where we would really enjoy what we were eating,” Prasad said—and in Bubbakoo’s, they had found it. Furthermore, they were looking for a company that would be supportive of its franchisees.

“We met the founders about a year before COVID hit, and you know, they were just as supportive throughout all that, and afterward. They treat us like family. They’ve never outgrown us even after growing to so many stores.”

“Featuring a variety of unique, customizable, wow-worthy menu items, made-to-order with fresh ingredients, Bubbakoo’s Burritos is an award-winning concept consistently ranked among the restaurant and franchise industry’s most elite companies,” says the brand’s website. “Further, as a brand that both consumers and restaurant franchise investors commonly seek out, Bubbakoo’s Burritos continues to open new restaurants coast to coast, building bridges with local residents and proudly becoming a community hub where people work, eat, and gather.”
