Restaurateur Lou Moshakos of LM Restaurants has purchased the space at 123 NE 20th Ave in Deerfield Beach and is planning to open a new outpost of restaurant chain Carolina Ale House, says recent coverage by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Replacing Bru’s Room, the new Carolina Ale House will be the chain’s 25th location.

“As with other Carolina Ale Houses, the sports-themed restaurant will carry pub fare: fish and chips, creamy spinach chicken and shrimp, steak frites, 28-day aged ribeye and Carolina baby back ribs, along with salads, burgers, cheesesteaks, a smoked brisket French dip, beers and cocktails,” the Sun-Sentinel coverage says.

“Your Carolina Ale House family can’t wait to host you for the game!” says a description on the brand’s website. “With dozens of TVs and ice cold beers on tap, and a killer scratch kitchen, we’re excited to take care of you. Our food and cocktail menus change seasonally, so you’re sure to find something you like. But if you can’t decide, you can’t go wrong with our award-winning wings!”

Opening in the 20th Avenue location, Carolina Ale House will join a beachside restaurant community that includes Amante’s Italian Cuisine, Le Rendez-Vous ice cream shop, The Whale’s Rib, and Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill.

What Now reached out on Wednesday to LM Restaurants President Amber Moshakos to inquire about the new location’s timeline for opening. Moshakos was not immediately available for comment.
