Originally expected to close at the end of October, City Pizza has received an extension allowing it to remain open at CityPlace until the end of this month—so be sure to head over soon if you want one last chance to say goodbye to the brand’s longstanding home.

“We opened at the other location back in 2001,” owner Frank Sen told What Now on Friday. “We were the first restaurant in CityPlace.”

It may be sad to leave home after so long, but Sen says there are big advantages to the new location. One is the free parking a location in the Tanger Outlets will provide, making for a smoother experience for guests. Another is that this new location will also feature a full bar.

And if you’re feeling nostalgic, fear not: the new location will offer the same great pizzas served in the CityPlace location for almost a quarter of a century.
