“Located by the bay in North Miami, YAYA Coastal Cuisine is poised to become a premier destination in Miami’s vibrant culinary landscape, offering stunning panoramic views of the Miami skyline and waterfront,” says the brand’s website. “Spearheaded by Angel Febres, a celebrated figure in Miami hospitality for over a decade, YAYA is set to blend exquisite Mediterranean cuisine with exceptional service. Febres, known for his successful ventures, including Racket, Drunken Dragon, Foxhole, and Casa Tiki, combines his passion for hospitality with his love of boating to create a distinctive atmosphere at YAYA.”
Details on the menu are not yet available on Yaya’s website, but a description of the food from a culinary team headed up by Todd Zimmer is included in the New Times coverage: “from fresh seafood, including crudo and grilled head-on prawns to hot mezze dishes such as saganaki and crisp zuchhini and eggplant,” along with “uni in seawater, Maine lobster cob salad, bone-in rib eye with salsa verde, and a whole Spanish dorado fish with watercress and fennel.”
Yaya will also feature a private members-only boating club, which includes the use of the location’s 14 docking spots, along with a private dining room.
What Now reached out to Febres on Wednesday to inquire about plans for Yaya. Febres was not immediately available for comment.
