New York City’s The Flatiron Room is expanding outside of the Big Apple for the first time.
The restaurant’s parent company Goodnight Group is bringing the concept to Aria Reserve, at 700 NE 24th St., according to “coming soon” posts on The Flatiron Room’s website and social media.
Joining two NYC outposts, the Edgewater location will be The Flatiron Room’s third overall location and first outside of New York.
In Miami, The Flatiron Room will span 6,000 square feet across two floors alongside the waterfront, Goodnight Group Founder Tommy Tardie wrote on LinkedIn alongside the above rendering of the planned venue.
“I’m happy to share a sneak peek of our new waterfront restaurant in Miami,” Tardie wrote. The expansive space will include “lots” of outdoor seating. “And did I mention the incredible 18-foot glass windows and two levels? Pretty amazing,” Tardie wrote.
The Flatiron Room Edgewater is set to open in 2025, the restaurateur wrote, inviting onlookers to visit the incoming restaurant on Instagram to get a “glimpse of the overall vibe. Check it out!”
“Founded in 2012 by Tommy Tardie, The Flatiron Room is a family of venues which hold to the same principal tenets; to create spaces where people can gather and have each of their senses engaged while enjoying food, drinks and live performances,” according to the concept’s website. “From the pageantry of the retrieval of our signature bottle keep, to the crushing of ice, each portion of our guests’ evening should be an experience.”
It has been “recognized as a world famous destination for whisky enthusiasts, live music lovers, foodies, and those seeking expertly crafted cocktails all in a relaxing atmosphere of warmth and comfort.”
