Another South Florida outpost of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is on its way, opening this time in Boca Raton. The Mediterranean chain’s next stop—its tenth Florida location, by our count—is 9961-9963 Glades Rd.
“Our food is made fresh daily from premium ingredients and cooked to order for our customers,” Bob Andersen, President of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, said on Wednesday. “Many of our guests start with one of our delicious hummus options or soups, followed by our popular Gyro platter, Greek Salad and/or Chicken Souvlaki, which are our signature dishes. For guests who have a sweet tooth our rice pudding is a favorite! We are incredibly excited and looking forward to serving and becoming part of the Boca Raton community.”
The Great Greek offers a menu of opens Mediterranean offerings, opening with appetizers like Hummus, Melitzanosalata (roasted eggplant puree with garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice), and stuffed grape leaves. It continues with familiar favorites like a Greek Salad, a gyro with lamb and beef or grilled chicken, and souvlaki (skewers of chicken, steak, lamb, or shrimp), and then with entrees like the Gyro Plate and the Falafel Plate.
For dessert: Baklava, Mom’s Rice Pudding, and Kourabiedes Cookies. A kids’ menu is also available, featuring a Grilled Cheese Pita, Chicken Fingers, and other child-safe dishes.
The Glades Road location is part of a retail center on the northeastern corner of the intersection with US-441 South. Nearby are retailers like Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Best Buy, plus food and drink locations like Boston Market, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, and Brooklyn Boys.
What Now confirmed the news with George Stan, the franchisee for this location, on Wednesday morning. Stan said the The Great Greek Boca Raton is expected to open within three to five months.
