According to Regan, the location is currently obtaining permits, and as of now, she expects to have the doors open in early April. This is Regan’s first foray into restaurant franchising. She was drawn to the company after developing a friendship with brand owner Dennis McKinley and realizing how delicious a well-prepared hot dog can be.

During a phone interview, Regan shared her community focus and drive as a business owner: “I am super excited to be within my community, providing employment opportunities, and to just be involved… I’m super blessed and happy to have the opportunity to do that.”

The brand has an ambitious expansion plan. According to their locations page, they have multiple stores planned across the country.

Regan recommends that Miami keep an eye on the Instagram @theoriginalhotdogfactorysoflo for events and specials surrounding the grand opening.
