With those locations open throughout the area, Just Salad is now at work on a location in Plantation, opening at 1714 N University Dr., Suite A.

“When I founded Just Salad in 2006, my vision was to create a restaurant concept that offered great-tasting, affordable, healthy salad served in a more earth-friendly way,” Founder and CEO Nick Kenner told Forbes last year. “The goal from the start was to deliver greatness in every moment: from providing flavorful food with the highest level of freshness, to setting a new standard for sustainability in the restaurant space and beyond.”

The Just Salad menu features a selection of salads like the Honey Crispy Chicken Salad (Extra Crisp Romaine, Spinach + Red Cabbage, Oven Crispy Chicken, Crumbled Feta, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Roasted Corn, Crispy Onions, Sliced Carrots) and the Earth Bowl (Arugula + Shredded Kale, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Violife® Creamy Vegan Feta, Hand-Cut Beets, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Sliced Apples, Chopped Almonds).

Despite the name, however, the menu isn’t just salad—there are other healthy choices, too, including the Caribbean Shrimp Bowl, Chicken Fajita Bowl, and the Cilantro Lime Chicken bowl, plus a selection of wraps and the now-classic avocado toast.

The new location will be situated south of the North University DriveWest Sunrise Boulevard intersection, a short way south of Plantation Square Plaza, a retail center which houses restaurants like Denny’s and Al Natour Middle Eastern.
