With 13 locations currently in operation in South Florida, Just Salad is growing in popularity as a healthy and convenient fast-casual restaurant chain. The chain now appears to be at work on a 14th location, this time in Coral Springs, as recently submitted plan review paperwork shows a new outpost opening at 4608 N University Dr.

The Just Salad menu features a selection of salads like the Honey Crispy Chicken Salad (Extra Crisp Romaine, Spinach + Red Cabbage, Oven Crispy Chicken, Crumbled Feta, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Roasted Corn, Crispy Onions, Sliced Carrots) and the Earth Bowl (Arugula + Shredded Kale, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Violife® Creamy Vegan Feta, Hand-Cut Beets, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Sliced Apples, Chopped Almonds).

If you’re not feeling a salad, there are other healthy options on offer as well, including the Caribbean Shrimp Bowl, Chicken Fajita Bowl, and the Cilantro Lime Chicken bowl, plus a selection of wraps and the now-classic avocado toast.

“[Just Salad] serves craveable, accessible, plant-centric meals made with homemade dressings, prepped-daily produce, from-scratch recipes and fresh, flavorful ingredients,” a representative of Just Salad told What Now earlier this year. “Empowering customers to ‘Eat with Purpose,’ Just Salad is a Certified B Corporation™ and home to the world’s largest restaurant reusable program, as well as the first U.S. restaurant chain to carbon label its menu and offer a Climatarian menu category.”

The North University Drive location is part of a retail center on the northwest corner of the intersection with Wiles Road. There, Just Salad would join fast and fast-casual concepts like Little Caesars Pizza, Wendy’s, and Chipotle.
