“Freshly baked, every day” isn’t just a slogan — it’s a promise. La Boulangerie Boul’Mich made its debut in 2014, with its first location in Key Biscayne, quickly earning a reputation as a go-to spot for a comfortable yet refined meal or grab n’ go greatness. In fact, since that first location opened its doors the concept has been expanded to six locations throughout Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, known for its French and Latin-inspired freshly baked pastries and artisanal croissants; gourmet pasta; sandwiches and salads; omelets and benedicts; coffee creations and more for over a decade. Now, the bakery and cafe announced its newest location in Kendall’s, Palms at Town & Country Mall, set to open in late-September 2024. This will mark a significant milestone for the multi-concept restaurant brand bringing its signature French-Latin flavor and commitment to quality and freshness to yet another vibrant South Florida community, this time with a franchise partner.

“Since we began our goal has always been to deliver quality-driven food and service that excites guests in a fun and approachable way,” explains co-owner Avy Cohen in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud of the brand we’ve built and how we’ve managed to integrate ourselves into the communities we call home. These neighborhoods have embraced and supported us, and we are so grateful for that. We’re looking forward to opening in Kendall and excited to be working with our first franchise partner.” Adds franchise partner Eber Gongora Rivero: “Not surprisingly we’re huge fans of La Boulangerie Boul’Mich so becoming part of the family and securing the first franchise license is an honor. Kendall is a great city with amazing energy and we’re certain they’ll love what this concept has to offer.”

A contemporary bakery with a Parisian flair, this new location is a casually sophisticated space perfect for a leisurely meal, a bite on the go, or friendly hangover coffee and pastries. La Boulangerie’s menu, which pulls strong influences from France, Latin America, and beyond, offers all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Kendall location will also feature the same items that have become local favorites, including their signature baked goods that are all freshly made. Guests can look forward to Venezuelan cachitos and tequeños, Colombian pan de bono, Argentinian style baked empanadas and French buttery croissants with an array of flavors such as almond and chocolate, Nutella, dulce de leche, pistachio, guava & cheese, ham & cheese, and more. And don’t forget the quiches and brioche. A variety of sweet treats, from apple tarts to their desserts in a jar perfectly complement the vast selection of specialty coffees and teas.

For breakfast, two Benedicts are on offer, including a Traditional and Norwegian (swap the Canadian bacon for smoked salmon, sauteed onions, and capers). From there, omelets and egg specialties, ranging from Scrambled Eggs Black Forest – fresh-scrambled eggs with sauteed, chopped Black Forest ham and cheese to a Croque Madame “our style” – open-faced French baguette with Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, fried eggs, tomatoes and a touch of bechamel. Also on offer: bagels, buttermilk pancakes, and avocado toasts (including Caprese and Greek variations).

Lunch and dinner options are just as varied with eight different salads, 16 handhelds, and close to ten fresh pastas. Standouts: the Bravia Salad of crisp mixed greens, goat cheese, apples, and roasted almonds on a carpaccio of beets, dressed in balsamic and olive oil; a classic Nicoise with Dijon dressing; Spaghetti Pomodoro e Basilico with a homemade tomato and basil sauce; Lasagna with homemade Ragu & Bechamel Sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese; Le Club – Black Forest ham, signature oven-roasted turkey, imported brie cheese, fresh mushrooms, tomatoes and lettuce with mustard and mayonnaise; a Brie and Roasted Almond sandwich, served hot with melted creamy French brie with crispy almonds, romaine lettuce and raspberry jam and French Dip – roast beef, melted swiss cheese and caramelized onions served hot with a salty “au jus” dip.

For those seeking to savor a bit of La Boulangerie Boul’Mich beyond their visit, the restaurant is known for its diverse menu of ready-to-eat frozen soups, pasta sauces and pastries, complete with easy-to-follow, bake or cook recipes.

Slated to open late-September 2024, the new La Boulangerie Boul’Mich Kendall will be located at 8405 Mills Drive. Grand Opening specials and programming details to be announced.
