Miam Cafe Looks to Be Planning New Location on Biscayne Boulevard

The name, Miam, is the French equivalent of “yum” (not just Miami without the “i”)

Named after the French word for “yum,” Miam Café offers coffee drinks, handhelds, brunch and more at 2750 NW 3rd Ave, Suite 21 in Wynwood. The aptly-named brand appears to be preparing an expansion to a new location not too far south, at 1040 Biscayne Blvd, on the southeast corner of the intersection between Northeast Second Avenue and Eleventh Street.

A plan review was submitted recently for a Miam Café project at this location by MIAM CAFE III LLC. The principal behind the LLC is local entrepreneur Yulak Landa. What Now contacted Landa on Tuesday. Landa was not immediately available to discuss plans for a Biscayne Boulevard Miam Cafe location.

“Whether you crave a wholesome breakfast, a healthy lunch or freshly-prepared afternoon snack, Miam brings made-to-order and homemade dishes to Wynwood made from the best organic and locally sourced ingredients available,” reads the Miami Café website’s Who We Are page. “Miam’s boutique area showcases some of the best fine grocery products like wines, honeys, oils and much more sourced from all over the United States. Miam is bringing together the purity of what cooking and eating should taste like.”

In addition to Miam’s selection of coffee drinks, juices, and smoothies, its food menu includes bowls and salads like the Lomo Saltado Bowl (Filet Mignon Saltado with Red Onions, Red Peppers & Tomatoes, Basmati Rice, Home Potatoes, Sliced Avocado and Cilantro Aioli) and the Miami Caesar Salad. Sandwiches and Burgers include “Le Breakfast Sandwich,” with bacon, fried egg, mashed avocado, Vermont cheddar, caramelized onions, and sriracha aioli on brioche, and the Miam Kubano.

There are also plenty of brunch offerings, like Guava & Cheese Pancakes, Eggs Benedict, or the French Toast Platter.
