Described as “Chef [Michael] Mina’s love letter to the classic American steakhouse,” Bourbon Steak is a beloved steakhouse concept with locations in Orange County, Washington D.C., Miami, and beyond. The chain is currently at work on another new location, which is opening late this year in Delray Beach, at The Seagate Hotel, where it will replace Atlantic Grille.

“We take pride in offering USDA Prime hormone-free beef that is hand-selected to ensure its exemplary quality,” says the Delray location’s website. “Our in-house butcher individually prepares each and every steak which is then slow-poached in a warm bath of rendered beef tallow, clarified butter and a proprietary blend of aromatic herbs and spices, then finished on a wood-burning grill of oak, hickory, and cherrywood.”

The new Bourbon Steak is yet another new project from star (and Michelin-starred) chef Michael Mina.

“Chef Mina has enjoyed a love affair with the kitchen, creating memorable dining experiences for guests from a very early age which has resulted in a myriad of honorable achievements including a Michelin star at MICHAEL MINA from 2012 to 2018, a James Beard Foundation “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage” induction in 2013, and Bon Appétit’s Chef of the Year 2005,” the website continues.

Opening at the Seagate, Bourbon Steak will join nearby restaurants like Delray Hideaway, Pizza Rustica, Boheme Bistro, and Playa Bowls.
