Misha’s Cupcakes will open a new location in Brickell at 40 Southwest 12th Street. If the address seems familiar, that’s because it is also the address of Sergio’s Cuban Cafe and Grill downtown. A specific date for the opening has not been specified.

When What Now Miami spoke with owner Misha Kuryla via phone, she said that she plans on expanding the online presence of Misha’s as well. They do already ship nationwide via Goldbelly.
According to the restaurant’s website, “Misha’s Cupcakes operates seven locations and has numerous wholesale accounts throughout South Florida. More than 10,000 cupcakes are freshly baked each day and the menu includes over 36 flavors, with specialty flavors introduced throughout the year. Misha’s Cupcakes also proudly offers other scrumptious products, including cake-in-a-jar, gourmet cakes, brownies, cookies, cookie dough (to bake at home), and cake bars.”
Kuryla’s idea is to make its online footprint larger and to have a smaller footprint in actual square footage in retail locations through joint ventures with other restaurants as the chain expands. Misha’s Cupcakes also plans to roll out cupcake vending machines in the future.
The concept for this new location will mainly be grab-and-go. Kuryla is working on an app that will allow people to order and then Misha’s Cupcakes can do drops at different locations. This idea is great, especially in areas where parking is scarce.
Misha’s Cupcakes has vanilla, marble, chocolate, four leches, lemon creme pie, guava, Boston creme pie, banana creme pie, and Nutella flavored cupcakes among other selections.
