Expect to find Nedel’s at 8428 W Oakland Park Blvd, where it will neighbor several other businesses near the Waterside Shoppes mall: Tandor Pizza & Desi Cuisine, El Patio Columbian and Chef Rose Jamaican Cuisine.

A firm opening date has not been set yet. Tanise estimates that it will be another two months or so, and that he is in the construction phase of pre-opening. Opening in a former Dunkin’ Donuts, Tanise reports that most of the work is needed in constructing their kitchen. The concept will offer indoor seating and take-out.

This is Tanise’s first foray into restaurant ownership. Tanise reports that he derived the name from his wife: Nedeline.

A plan review filed with the Nedel’s with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation was initiated on June 22 and is still in process.
