What Now confirmed with a manager of the restaurant on Wednesday that the brand will be opening another outfit in the area. When the new space is planned to open isn’t exactly clear, but according to the manager, it will be at least a few months. The plan review was filed on April 4, and is still in process. The pizzeria will appear at 2250 SW 22 Street, near Al Carbon Burger Bar and The Mighty.

Expect to find genuine Italian pizza once ‘O Munaciello opens. With deep roots in Italy, the brand brings an authentic Italian dining experience to Miami. Per the website:

“Pizza Master Carmine Candito, who comes from a long line of Neapolitan restaurateurs and pizza makers. From a young age, Carmine began working at his father’s popular restaurant “Un Posto Al Sole” in Naples, Italy, eventually becoming a pizza maker for two leading pizzerias in the region. Carmine eventually moved to Florence, Italy, to work at Le Scuderie which was then transformed into O’Munaciello over 10 years ago.”
