What Now reported on the news back in Summer 2023, when initial paperwork was submitted for the location. Now, a plan review has been submitted by Lucky 7 Oakland Park LLC for the project to move forward. Oakland Park’s Voodoo Brewery location is now under construction.

What Now confirmed the news on Monday with franchisee Jignesh Amin, who, together with two partners, has taken over the project from a previous franchise owner. Amin said construction has begun but no opening date has yet been projected.

“Since our founding in 2005 in Meadville, PA, Voodoo Brewing Co. has seen explosive growth,” says the Voodoo Brewery website. “What began as a small brewery has now expanded to multiple taprooms across the country, including Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Nevada. The opening of our production facility in 2017 has allowed for expansion of our award-winning beer inventory. Voodoo Brewing Co.’s focus on product consistency and innovation has earned us accolades from all over the world, making Voodoo Brewing Co. a go-to destination for craft beer enthusiasts.”
