The chain’s growth has been explosive in recent years, particularly in South Florida, where it has 19 locations currently in operation in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

The brand’s healthy bowls come with a wide variety of bases, including the classic Playa Acai and Playa Pitaya, along with others, like mango, coconut, green, and oatmeal. There’s the super-popular Nutella Bowl (Playa Acai topped with blueberry flax granola, strawberry, banana, coconut flakes, and Nutella), the Mango Power Bowl (Playa Mango with vanilla protein topped with blueberry flax granola, banana, and peanut butter), the Nutaya (Playa Pitaya topped with blueberry flax granola, banana, blueberry, cacao nibs, coconuts flakes, and Nutella), and much more.

Plus, bowls aren’t the only thing on offer: Playa Bowls also serves up a selection of smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and cold brew coffee.

Opening in retail center across from Miami-Dade College, Playa Bowls will join food and drink concepts like Diced, Sushi Sake, Bloomte, Jalapeños Killian, and Sonia’s Patties.
