The Plum Market store features peak of season produce, grocery and apothecary essentials, all natural and sustainably sourced meats and seafood, and chef crafted prepared dishes made from fresh, all natural ingredients. Locally sourced artisan baked goods, specialty candies, and fresh cut floral are also available alongside a selection of wine and craft beer.

“The Plum Market team has been working tirelessly to source the best possible products for our first Aventura location,” said Matt Jonna, CEO and Co-Founder of Plum Market in a statement. “We have exciting plans for the store and look forward to welcoming guests to experience the Plum Market approach to a healthy lifestyle. We want to be Aventura’s premier source for groceries and lifestyle essentials.”

The independently owned chain of full-service grocery stores has a strong commitment to the local communities they serve. Plum Market makes a tremendous effort to support local growers, artisans and makers and displays signage that highlights how many miles each local product has traveled to reach the store. This not only helps guests support local brands but also ensures that the freshest and best quality products are offered, including seasonal produce, artisan breads and pastries, and dock-fresh seafood.

Located 17801 Biscayne Blvd. in Aventura, the 22,600 sq ft store will engage 125 Team Members and feature more than 100 local brands, including McGregor’s Greens, BarbaCuban, The Empanada Girl, Sullivan Street Bakery, Mother Kombucha, Ella’s Flats, Laura’s Gourmet Granola, Cigar City, Fullei Fresh, Wish Farms and Funky Buddha Brewery, just to name a few. It will also be the first grocery location on the East Coast to sell Norman Love Confections & Baked Goods, the Florida-based international chocolatier. Guests will also enjoy fresh sustainable sushi made on-site, meals-to-go, and a full take away catering menu.

Plans for the store’s Grand Opening events will be released in the coming weeks.
