Residential Sister Communities Altís Miramar and Altra Miramar Open Offering 650 Units Combined

'Ultra-luxe' apartment communities are already 40 percent pre-leased, says developer.

Multifamily real estate developer and manager The Altman Companies Thursday announced the openings of Altís Miramar and Altra Miramar.

The two “environmentally-friendly” residential “sister” communities are located in Miramar, at 11385 SW 30th Ct. and 2750 SW 113 Ln., respectively.

Amenities include a 24/7 fitness center complete with a yoga, spinning, and aerobics studio, a Starbucks cybercafé with entree to workspace lounges and private conference room, and a game room. An additional roster of amenities also includes heated pools, complete with a spa, cabanas, and a pool pavilion.

The two communities are pet-friendly, offering indoor air-conditioned dog grooming spas where pets can indulge in. A multi-purpose trail is shared by both communities with their individual pet parks with gated, off-leash areas available to allow residents to bond and play with their pets.

A prospective resident can choose between a private-entry garden-style residence with an attached or detached garage at Altís or an attached garage with direct access to hallways served by elevators at Altra. The floorplans come complete with chef-quality kitchens including quartz countertops and entertaining bars and stainless steel and upgraded energy-efficient appliances. Interior features include spa-inspired bathrooms equipped with dual sink vanities, a spacious soaking tub, and clear glass shower enclosures. Most of the apartment homes have balconies or patios, and the apartments are designed with sustainability in mind.

Altís Miramar has 320 garden-style apartment homes at an average unit size of 1,062-square feet; and the mid-rise, Altra Miramar, offers 330 apartment homes with an average unit size of 941-square feet. The Altís and Altra communities are separated by a linear park featuring pedestrian and bicycle paths that form the missing link in the citywide network.

Both communities are National Green Building Standard (NGBS) certified and their sustainable initiatives include energy-efficient designer lighting, ENERGY STAR® appliances, individual unit electric meters & sub-metered water, high-efficiency water heaters, and programmable thermostats with humidistat. Furthermore, the communities offer electric car charging stations, which allow residents to charge their electric cars free of cost as an incentive for residents’ commitment to green energy.

Altís and Altra Miramar communities are located on the northwest corner of Red Road and Miramar Parkway, in Miramar, and are a part of a larger master-planned development consisting of 50,000-square feet of retail which includes Starbucks, Flanigan’s, World of Beer, and Jersey Mike’s.
