With locations at Cocowalk, on Lincoln Road, and in Wynwood, craft ice cream brand Salt & Straw is still building out its footprint in the South Florida market. Now, plan review paperwork has been submitted by the company for a new Salt & Straw at 19505 Biscayne Blvd #2265 in Aventura, alongside the Aventura Mall.

Salt & Straw serves a wide variety of ice cream flavors and is constantly introducing new ones. Best sellers include Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, Chocolate Gooey Brownie, and Freckled Mint Chocolate Chip. Each month, the brand also offers a limited-time menu, which this month includes varieties like Turkey Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce, Mom’s Mango Pie, and Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu.

“At Salt & Straw, anything is possible,” says the Salt & Straw website. “Crafted with unthinkable care, our team cooks, freezes, candies, smashes, drizzles, ribbons, spoons, and sprinkles, creating flavor profiles that awaken taste buds. Using ice cream as a blank slate for storytelling, we fearlessly explore ingredients, discover emerging artisans, and share inspiring, unifying experiences.”

What Now reached out on Monday to Salt & Straw Founder and CEO Kim Malek to inquire about plans for an Aventura Mall location. Malek was not immediately available for comment.
