A second location for Old Tom’s Sports Bar at 9525 North Kendall Dr., is hoping to open in future, replacing Islas Kendall, according to paperwork filed with the City. This will expand one of Miami’s most known sports bars. The date has yet to be determined but this will certainly expand the community from Miami Springs.

“The landlord is very excited to be adding such a well-known, highly-regarded restaurant to the property,” Tom Smith, Senior Vice President at NAI Miami, the brokerage that represented the landlord in the lease, told What Now Miami in an email Wednesday.

The name was originally under Tom’s NFL when it opened in 1984. However, that didn’t stop their success, “To locals, we’re a second home” stated Old Tom’s Website. Their famous stop is located at 5001 NW 36th St, Miami Springs.

“We are the oldest sports bar in Miami” according to Old Tom’s youtube channel. Locals love their classic bar fixings. They have a vast amount of craft beer on draft, domestic, imported, and local.

Locals and tourists also come for the food. Old Tom’s menu features “Award Winning Wings” with mild and spicey options. Don’t forget the customer’s favorite Pulled Pork Nachos loaded with BBQ sauce, guacamole, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, and a bit of spice.

The walls are covered in TVs, perfect for all the guests to enjoy every game that day. As well as a large projector in the center of the establishment. Old Tom’s also has a stage where local performers have come to celebrate their music.

Their Instagram is always posting their latest events and information. Information on the second location will hopefully be out as soon as possible on their website as management this week did not respond to What Now Miami’s request for comment.
