Smoothie Spot Appears to Be Planning a New Miami Location

Tamiami Trail Shops, a small retail center on the southwest corner of Southwest 137th Avenue and Southwest Eighth Street, may soon be home to another Smoothie Spot. A recently submitted plan review indicates a new Smoothie Spot opening at 13810 SW Eighth St. By our count, this would be the eleventh Smoothie Spot in the area.

Smoothie Spot offers smoothies in varieties like Berry Bomb (blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, strawberry protein) and PB&J (strawberries, blueberries, cranberry juice, strawberry protein, peanut butter). It is also home to a unique beverage concoction: the Protein Coffee Frappe, which comes in three flavors: Caramel, Peanut, and Chocolate.

For hungry guests, Smoothie Spot offers breakfast items like Avocado Toast and a Steak and Eggs Omelet, along with empanadas in varieties like Beef, Spinach, and Tropical Vegan. The menu’s Signature Meals include wraps like the Miami Wrap (ground turkey, spinach tortilla, spinach, rice, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, garlic cilantro dressing) and salads like the Tex Mex Salad, with steak, black beans, corn, and pico de gallo.

Tamiami Trail Shops is also home to eateries like Ceviche & Grill and El Toro Loco Churrascaria.
