Spiked Rich is branching out from their Davie location to plant another unit in Doral. The steampunk concept is known for their eclectic theming and decor, along with the unique desserts they serve.
What Now confirmed with CEO Jeffrey Saunders on Monday that the concept is set to appear at 8550 NW 53 ST. They are amidst construction and anticipate opening in two months. You can expect to find these other eateries neighboring the new location: Gusto RistoBar, Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market and Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine.
Complete with tin ceiling, Chicago brick and movie-grade props, Spiked Rich evolved from a concept launched by Saunders and his son, Jesse, in 2017. By 2020, the duo had perfected their branding and the theme of their shop and began offering franchising opportunities. This is the second location that the brand will open, and it is corporate owned.
They offer an array of desserts, from flash-frozen ice cream to decadent half-pound cookies. There are offerings for all ages, and for the adults, certain milkshakes and ice creams are offered with a kick.
A plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on March the 3rd is still in process.
