The Waxin’s menu opens with starters like Tomato Bisque, Tuna Tartare, and Pata Negra (Exclusive iberico ham from a unique Spanish black pig that has been cured for 36 months). The brand’s Swedish Classics include Swedish Meatballs, Beef Rydberg, and Wallenbergare (Double ground veal steak with brown butter, green peas, lingonberries and potato purée).

Seafood choices include Cod the Swedish Way (i.e with warm butter, ice ocean shrimp, horseradish, egg, and dill) and Tessie’s Bouillabaisse, a dish with cod, salmon, and mussels in a creamy seafood broth, topped with ice ocean shrimp.

Waxin’s also offers a selection of salads, steaks (including chicken and yellowfin tuna), and pasta dishes, along with craft cocktails and a generous wine list.

The location on Clematis St is situated on the southeast corner for the intersection with S Olive Ave, amid a number of dining locations, including Duffy’s Sports Grill, Kabuki Sushi Thai, and Nico’s Pizza.
