What Now confirmed the news with a representative of the restaurant on Thursday. The representative said the new location has undergone some delays but is still pushing to open before the end of the year. The same great menu is expected to be on offer, with variations to adjust to the needs to and opportunities of the new location.

Dinner at Tanuki Miami opens with appetizers like Tacos (with wagyu beef, salmon, or the Impossible vegan option), Salmon Pizza, and Hamachi Tiradito with agave yuzu dressing, micro cilantro, and dry miso. Dim Sum offerings include Beef & Foie Xiao Long Bao, Chicken Truffle Siu Mai, and Chicken & Pork Gyoza. The House Specialty is Peking Duck, half or whole, served with Chinese pancakes. Other entrees include Mushroom Hot Pot, Pad See Ew, and Seafood Toban Yaki with lobster, scallop, shrimp, eggplant, and mushrooms.

The menu also features a generous sushi selection, plus a range of vegan offerings, including the California Garden Maki, Dim Sum with mushroom and potato, and Singapore Noodle with tofu.
