“We came to the United States from Belarus in 2011,” co-owner Natallia Yelyashevich told What Now on Monday. Asked the meaning of the name, Temerok, Yelyashevich said, “In Russian culture, it’s like a small, cozy house. It’s small, but it has enough space for everyone to come in and eat.”

The menu features bakery dishes, including both sweet and savory pancakes and pies, along with appetizers like Marinated Mushrooms or Malossol Salmon. Salads include Russian Potato Salad, Salad with Herring, Sauerkraut Salad, and more; and there are also a variety of soups like Borscht, Creamy Salmon Soup, and Pea Soup with Smoked Ribs. Entrees include Goulash, Lamb Shank with Veggies, Chicken Tabaka, and Fried or Baked Halibut.

Guests will also be able to enjoy their meal in Temerok Food and Deli’s outdoor seating.

Teremok will offer breakfast until 11:30 a.m., serving dishes like a Bagel w/ Cream Cheese, Malossol Salmon, and Tomato or Cheese Pancakes w/ Jam and Sour Cream. To drink: a selection of fruit juices, plus draft beer and cocktails like the Mimosa.

Temerok will open across the street from a retail center that houses eateries like Doggi’s Arepa Bar, Crudos Fusion Art Hallandale, and Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar.
