The Allocation Room is neighbor to sister properties, Navé, Ariete, and The Taurus. AHG is known for their growing family of restaurants and bars including Ariete (Michelin Star), Navé (Michelin Guide mention), Chug’s (Bib Gourmand recipient) and The Taurus all in Coconut Grove; The ScapeGoat in Miami Beach, The Gibson Room on Coral Way (Michelin Guide mention), and most recently Brasserie Laurel (Michelin Guide mention), Chug’s Express and El Vecino at Miami Worldcenter in Downtown.

“Being in the business for 12 years as a sommelier, I’ve always had guests, employees,
even friends, ask me ‘where can I get a good bottle of wine or sake?’ This is where the
idea of opening my own shop stemmed from. I wanted a place where industry folk and
guests could rely on good quality wines selected by a sommelier,” commented Adrián
López, sommelier and partner at The Allocation Room in a statement.

The 2,000 square foot room is a modern, yet cozy environment with accents of wood
paneling, leather, brick, and marble countertops, that give it a crisp and clean look; as
well as an extensive wooden accordion door that divides the bar and tasting event space.
At this upscale and relaxing space, patrons will be able to enjoy a carefully curated
selection of wines and sakes at the lounge and bar area. You will also have the
opportunity to take some home for your personal collection or as gift.

“When I was learning about wine, I used to visit many shops just to see if I recognized
labels and always dreamt of having my own shop. The same way that I would study labels, is what I want the community to experience at The Allocation Room; to read one of my
wine books while enjoying a glass of wine,” shared López.

Aside from inviting wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts to visit, the goal is to bring
sommeliers together and host blind tasting classes, similar to the experience that López
had while he was training for his certification. What really separates The Allocation Room
with other shops will be the extensive sake selection offered.

The wine repertoire will consist of Italian and Spanish wines, that will be a direct import
from the wineries to The Allocation Room; while not entirely rare, they will be fairly
exclusive. Additionally, there will be a well-rounded variety of wines from Champagne,
California, Oregon, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone Valley, and Southwest of France, among
others. In terms of sakes, full and half bottles will be part of the selection and sake juice
boxes.

The Allocation Room is located at 3540 Main Hwy Suite CU2-104, Miami, FL 33133 and will be Monday-Sunday 11:30 a.m. -7:00 p.m.
