Toscana Divino (TD) Hospitality Group announced that its flagship restaurant, Toscana Divino (900 S. Miami Ave.), will pursue a new address for its contemporary Italian restaurant following the expiration of its current lease at the end of May. The move comes on the heels of a long, cordial relationship with Mary Brickell Village – a centrally located commercial development featuring restaurants and retail outlets – where the restaurant has served as an anchor tenant for more than twelve years.

“With a lease at the end of its term and new growth strategies for our business, the timing was right for us to pursue a new location,” said Tommaso Morelato, Founder, Toscana Divino Hospitality Group in a statement. “When I moved to Miami more than twelve years ago and pursued our first restaurant, the team at Mary Brickell Village had an exciting vision for the neighborhood. Our time here has surpassed my expectations; none of us could have imagined the incredible hub Brickell would become. It has been an honor working in partnership with their team to bring our sustainable, contemporary Italian cuisine to the community. We are grateful for them and especially want to thank the thousands of guests who have entrusted us with their memorable dining experiences in this space.”

Toscana Divino is a mainstay in the eyes of locals and visitors alike. Featuring contemporary Italian cuisine under the leadership of native Italian and Executive Chef Andrea Marchesin, the restaurant celebrates the flavors of Italy’s vast, rich territories and approaches its offerings with heritage heart, yet modern hand. Sustainability has always been central to the Toscana Divino approach, with finely sourced ingredients from Florida’s Gratitude Garden Farm, Harpke Family Farm and several others, and a wine list replete with selections from lesser explored wineries throughout Italy.

While Morelato finalizes plans to announce Toscana Divino’s new home, he and his team continue to espouse la dolce vita at their Mediterranean and seafood-inspired Toscana Mare at the Towers of Key Biscayne and at Ironside Pizza – the group’s love letter to Napoli – in Little River’s Ironside Complex.

Since 2016, Morelato has also steadily been building TD Hospitality Group’s residential division, a business extension that conceptualizes and operates custom food and beverage outlets, as well as carefully curated events and lifestyle programming, at high end residential communities. The team is engaged by nearly one dozen of Miami’s most notable residential developments, with special announcements coming soon. With nearly 200 employees representing 21 nationalities at TD Hospitality Group, team members from Toscana Divino’s Brickell location will seamlessly lend their expertise to this arm of the business until the new location opens.

Toscana Divino’s final service at its Brickell location was Sunday, May 12.
