“Bliss Bar & Nightclub will strive to provide South Florida with some of the best live and DJ entertainment, including local aa well as international acts,” co-owner Richard Roopnarine told What Now in an email conversation on Monday. “Our goal is to provide an amazing experience in a safe atmosphere. Club nights will include (but [are] not limited to) a range of Hip Hop, Latin, EDM and Caribbean entertainment, promoting an all-inclusive environment.”

The nightclub’s interior is currently under construction, and it is expected to open this spring. Operating Tuesday through Sunday from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., Bliss promises a full bar, along with a selection of light appetizers to go along with the entertainment.

Opening at 3936-3950 NW 19th Street, not far east of the intersection with North State Road 7, Bliss will be joining a food, drink, and entertainment community that includes Spoons Grill & Restaurant (across the street), Yeasty Brews Artisanal Beers, and Jamaican restaurant Gud Girl Gone Bad.
