Abbale Telavivian Kitchen, which has served up Mediterranean and Israeli cuisine in Miami Beach since 2021, is preparing to launch a second location, this time in Aventura, in the Aventura Shopping Center. Chef and Co-Owner Sam Gorenstein announced the new location, which he is opening in partnership with Omer Horev, founder of Pura Vida, in a press release earlier this week.

“Opening another Abbale has been in the works for a while; it was important we find the right location for our next expansion and second home,” Gorenstein said in a press release. “Aventura is a great market for our brand, and this space has everything we need to take Abbale to the next level. We are thrilled to be a part of the Aventura community and excited to bring our Israeli-inspired menu more accessibility to some of our loyal clients that reside in northern Dade.”

Boasting seating for 140 guests, the new location will feature more than double the capacity of the brand’s original location, including a covered outdoor terrace. It will also feature a 14-seat bar, offering “specialty cocktails crafted with spiced floral & fruity notes, inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean.”

“The menu will also expand with several new dishes made possible by the Aventura location’s larger kitchen space; but will include dishes that Abbale has become known for since opening,” reads the release. “Gorenstein’s stand-out dishes include shakshuka, sumac chicken shashlik, crunchy cauliflower, Moroccan spiced local fish, and other dishes that showcase the melting pot of flavors from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe that have helped Abbale stand out as a pioneer among the slew of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants to launch in Miami since they opened in 2021.”

What Now reached out to Gorenstein to inquire further about the news. Gorenstein was not immediately available for comment.
