First Watch, the Bradenton-based Daytime Dining restaurant serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, announced it has opened a new location in Cooper City. As the concept’s 11th in Broward County, the new restaurant at 3900 N. University Drive brings the concept’s chef-driven menu and rotating seasonal offerings to a 3,767-square-foot space that seats more than 160 people. Customers can enjoy outside dining under a covered patio and signature cocktails at an indoor-outdoor bar, the latest evolutions in First Watch’s full-service design.

“For more than 15 years, we’ve introduced neighbors throughout Broward County to a new morning routine, and our latest restaurant in Cooper City is helping us continue that momentum,” said Mike Valdes, Regional VP of Operations at First Watch in a statement. “Our first restaurant in this area brings the latest enhancements to the brunch experience, with an outdoor patio that gives customers the chance to enjoy South Florida’s famous weather all year long. We’re excited to continue to raise the bar and bring more people around our table for years to come.”

To celebrate the opening of the new Cooper City location, customers who dine in-restaurant during their first five days in business will receive free coffee with their meal. In addition, the first 120 customers to visit the new restaurant will also receive a custom, reusable travel mug.

First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings that are made to order using fresh ingredients. Some of its items include Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and its signature Million Dollar Bacon. All year long, the concept makes an array of fresh juices in-house daily and brews its socially responsible Project Sunrise coffee, sourced by women coffee farmers, the Mujeres en Café, based in South America.

Five times a year, First Watch offers a revolving seasonal menu that follows the sun to intentionally source quality ingredients, wherever and whenever they are in season. This ever-evolving menu has included items like the Crab Avocado Toast, Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict, Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash and Watermelon Wake-Up fresh juice, among many others. The new restaurant will offer this seasonal menu beginning in Winter 2023.

First Watch serves its full menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for pickup, delivery and dine-in service.
