Located at 261 South Federal Highway in Deerfield, Le Petit Poussin Cafe offers a “high-quality Parisian-inspired menu of sandwiches, crepes, soups, croissants, salads, pastries, and specialty coffees.” And it’s about to offer all this in a second location—this time in Boca Raton, at 1 Town Center Road, Suite 102.

“The story [behind Le Petit Poussin] is very simple,” owner and French native Karim Laitaoui told What Now on Wednesday. “I’ve owned restaurants for twenty years and French pastries are just something that’s in my DNA.”

Le Petit Poussin’s pastries include classic Croissants (also available in chocolate and almond varieties), Éclairs du jour, Napoleons, various tarts, and more. There are crepes both savory and sweet—with flavors ranging from Chicken, Spinach & Cream to Nutella Berries—sandwiches, paninis, salads, and more. All these are served alongside a selection of espresso-based coffee beverages.

Laitaoui’s long history in the restaurant business includes concepts like Bistro 1902, The Ships Galley, The Wine Depot, and Le Bureau. Le Petit Poussin is opening soon in Boca Raton, and Laitaoui says there’s another location to follow. Then, the brand plans to launch franchising.
