Named after the French word for “yum,” Miam Cafe offers coffee drinks, handhelds, brunch, and more at a handful of locations in South Florida. Helmed by local entrepreneur Yulak Landa, Miami Cafe is the place to go “whether you crave a wholesome breakfast [or] a healthy lunch or freshly-prepared afternoon snack.”

The team behind Miam Cafe now appears to be branching out with another new French bakery concept: Le Croissant. Plan review paperwork was submitted by Croissant Coffee Shop LLC for a restaurant by that name, which would open at 8551 NW 30th Terrace in Doral. Yulak Landa is the principal behind Croissant Coffee Shop LLC as well.

Details are not yet available on the Le Croissant menu, although there are hints available: an Instagram post by Miam Cafe announced hiring for a croissant specialist—namely, a pastry chef with “French/Italian/Petit Dessert Knowledge.”

The Northwest 30th Terrace location is situated near the intersection with Northwest 87th Avenue. Nearby are the Holiday Inn (Miami-Doral Area) and Miller’s Ale House.

In other Miam Cafe news, recent Instagram posts have announced a “whole new look is coming soon” to Miam Wynwood. We’ll be curious to see how that update turns out.
