Founded in 2004, chicken chain Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is continuing its explosive growth, particularly in the state of Florida. The brand now appears to be on its way to Palmetto Bay, where plan review paperwork submitted by Cluck Holdings LLC shows a Huey Magoo’s opening at 14967 S Dixie Highway.

Huey Magoo’s offers its tenders in three-, five-, and seven-piece meals, served up with coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and Magoo’s Dip. There’s also the Magoo’s Sandwich, with tenders, thick-cut dill pickles, and a drizzle of Magoo’s sauce. (It’s available with hand-breaded or grilled chicken, and also as a wrap.)

Behind the location is franchisee Frank Hennessey. What Now reached out to Hennessey on Wednesday to ask about plans for a Palmetto Bay location. Hennessey was not immediately available for comment.

The South Dixie Highway location is part of Coral Reef Shopping Center, which is already home to restaurants like Fudruckers and Chicken Kitchen, along with an Aldi supermarket. It is not yet known when the location can be expected to open.
