Playa Bowls Looks to Be Planning Pompano Beach Location

As Playa Bowls continues to expand all over South Florida, the chain appears to be at work on a new location near Pompano Citi Centre in Pompano Beach. Paperwork submitted by PB Pompano Beach LLC, headed up by franchisee Alexandra Arguello, shows a new location opening at 2240 N Federal Highway B.

The chain has been steadily expanding in South Florida, offering popular healthy bowls like the Pura Vida (Playa Acai topped with blueberry flax granola, strawberry, blueberry, and honey), the Mucho Mango Bowl (Playa Mango topped with blueberry flax granola, pineapple, banana, coconut flakes, and honey), and the Green Power Bowl (Green blend [contains kale, banana, pineapple, and coconut milk] with vanilla protein topped with blueberry flax granola, banana, and almond butter).

“Playa Bowls™ is your slice of summer, anytime,” the brand’s website says. “Using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, we serve healthy, delicious açaí, pitaya, coconut bowls and smoothies with sustainability and community in mind.”

The North Federal Highway is situated across from Pompano Citi Centre, a shopping mall that houses restaurants like J. Mark’s, Shishka Lebanese Grill, Five Guys, and Chuck E. Cheese.
