JOEY Aventura’s 241-seat dining room is anchored by a modern, circular bar surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and an open kitchen where guests can watch chefs prepare their dishes. The restaurant features natural wood and stone elements, lush greenery, unique ambient lighting, and captivating art installations by artists Elsbeth Shaw, Anna Kincaide, and Julian Opie. Those seeking a more intimate experience can dine in the upstairs mezzanine for additional high-top seating, booths and a full bar overlooking the main dining area. For alfresco dining, guests can opt for the 92-seat outdoor patio, complete with fans and a retractable awning.

“JOEY Restaurants began with humble beginnings in 1992 in Calgary, Alberta, with a big goal to serve quality food, provide genuine hospitality, and develop powerful leaders” said Layne Krienke, President of JOEY Restaurant Group in a statement. “JOEY has since grown into an established collection of restaurants across the continent, including our very first venture into the Sunshine State. We’re excited for the City of Aventura to enjoy the JOEY experience.”

Helmed by Executive Chef Matthew Stowe, JOEY Aventura invites guests to explore its internationally inspired menus for lunch and dinner. Signature starters include Roasted Corn Guacamole, Korean Fried Cauliflower, Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Hibachi Wings and Truffle Parmesan Fries. The sushi selection features Seared Salmon Sushi and Sushi Cones, while fresh salads include the Mercado Chicken Salad, Yellowfin Tuna Salad and Katsu Chicken Salad. Guests who love a good handheld can delight in Baja Fish Tacos or a customizable Hand-Pressed Burger flavored with JOEY’s secret sauce. The mains include Sake Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, Spaghetti Pomodoro and Cajun Blackened Chicken. Steak aficionados can select from JOEY Classic Steak, Steak & Ravioli Bianco and Steak with Lobster or Crab Cake, among others. Diners with a sweet tooth can complete their meal with any of JOEY’s classic desserts, such as the Individually Baked Apple Pie or Warm Italian Donuts.

Any of JOEY Aventura’s dishes can pair with the sunny colors and characters of the bar menu, featuring an extensive wine selection from JOEY’s in-house sommelier, local beers and handcrafted cocktails. Standouts include the Spicy Passion Fruit Margarita, The Real Peach Bellini, Mango Daiquiri and Mai Tai Crush, all perfectly refreshing for summer. Avant-garde choices include Supernova Vodka Soda, Supersonic Gin & Tonic and Super Highballs, a twist on the classic highball with signature lemon and lime slush. A non-alcoholic menu is also available, providing inclusive drink options from mocktails to coffee. Guests can enjoy happy hour daily from 3-5 p.m. with discounted drinks and food favorites, including 50% off select wines.

The restaurant is located at 19505 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 1150, in Miami and is open daily from 11 a.m. until late.
