Ever since its pedestrian-friendly update in 2016, Coral Gables retail district Miracle Mile has been growing in popularity, and building out its food and beverage roster. Miracle Mile is home to brands like Motek, Mai Sushi Tapas & Bar, Bulla Gastrobar, and more. The next addition is Maman, the New York City-based cafe chain, which is currently expanding its footprint in South Florida.

It was announced last fall that a lease been brokered by Terranova Corporation for a new Maman location on Miracle Mile. A plan review was submitted recently for the new location at a specific address: 136 Miracle Mile.

“Terranova is proud to welcome Maman to the heart of Coral Gables,” Stephen Bittel, Founder and Chairman of Terranova, said in the announcement. “Miracle Mile is home to many retail and dining experiences, and the addition of Maman, with its rich culture and culinary influence from Southern France and North America and appeal to local celebrities, moms-on-the-go, business partners, and friends into one of our many locations, will help strengthen the lifestyle of Miracle Mile that we have been carefully curating.”

Maman’s Wynwood location features Sandwiches & Tartines like Patricia’s Prosciutto Sandwich (prosciutto, manchego, grated tomato, olive oil & fleur de sel on a baguette) and the Croque Maman (Parisian ham, comté cheese & homemade béchamel on seeded sourdough). There are Miami-exclusive pastires like Maman’s Fruit Basket (guava filling wrapped in a croissant & topped with seasonal fresh fruit) and the Passion Fruit & Lavender Loaf Cake (passion fruit olive oil cake with a touch of lavender, topped with white chocolate).

“Miracle Mile is an ideal spot for our new venture,” Ben Sormonte, Founder of Maman, added in the announcement. “It’s a pedestrian-friendly gem with abundant outdoor space for cafes and restaurants. This setup is a big plus for Maman. We’re absolutely thrilled to establish our latest location here. Our goal is to bring our cultural charm to Miracle Mile visitors and create lasting experiences in the years ahead.”
