“The decision to renovate and relaunch Marion is rooted in its legacy as a Miami landmark,” said Mathieu Massa, Founder & CEO of Mr. Hospitality Miami in a statement. “For years, Marion has been synonymous with exceptional dining, trendsetting flair, and a premier nightlife destination. This transformation elevates Marion from the ‘It’ girl of Brickell to a sophisticated, graceful icon. This is not just a renovation; it’s a $4,000,000 rebirth—returning to her essence with newfound elegance, ready to enchant our guests anew.”

Since its debut in 2015, Marion has been known for its Thursday night soirées that seamlessly fuses fine dining with vibrant nightlife. The re-launch promises to uphold these traditions while introducing a new level of sophistication. Guests will be treated to live performances by Marion’s talented roster of performing artists, singers, and dancers, creating a seamless transition from a refined dining experience to late-night entertainment.

Marion’s refreshed menu, crafted by Executive Chef Kylian Goussot, will showcase a bold fusion of Asian-Mediterranean flavors. Chef Goussot will introduce an array of artfully prepared sushi rolls, fresh seafood, and premium USDA-grade prime meats. Signature dishes include: Truffle Prime Beef Tartare; with confit egg yolk and pickled red onions, Kobe Roll; torched A5 Wagyu, fried shrimp, and truffle creamy sauce, Lobster Tempura; with curry batter and salsa verde, Chilean Sea Bass; with coconut and cilantro infusion, and Prime Skirt Steak Tagliata; made with basil & pine nuts pesto, 24 month aged Parmesan.

Complementing the cuisine is a collection of new cocktails curated by Corporate Beverage Manager Karol Ansaldi, inspired by the same Asian-Mediterranean influences. Signature cocktails include: Dirty Dancing; made with tequila and mezcal, softened with sweet notes of vanilla, balanced with the tangy flavor of passion fruit and ginger, topped with a prosecco foam, Wild Things; a tiki-inspired concoction made with rum blended with pineapple, spiked with the sicilian influence of blood orange & pistachio, and Basic Instinct; which is the restaurant’s take on a Paloma, made with tequila & aperol, sweetened with a hint of honey, spiced up with chilli and finished with mandarin and grapefruit soda.

The wine program, thoughtfully-designed and overseen by Wine Director Higor Valle, will feature one of Miami’s most impressive Champagne collections. Highlights include prestigious Grand Maisons, such as Krug 2008, Piper-Heidsieck Rare, Ruinart Dom Ruinart, and Dom Pérignon P2, alongside exceptional Growers like Paul Bara, Vouette et Sorbée, Pierre Gimonnet, and Henri Giraud, ensuring a memorable experience for both connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

Marion’s redesign introduces an opulent Dom Pérignon Champagne Display and Tequila Room, replacing the former wine room. This luxurious space has a distinguished collection of over 300 premium bottles, including the finest Champagnes and Tequilas.

Designed by Carlos Rodriguez of Escala Forma, the reimagined Marion pays homage to its past while embracing a dynamic new future. Rodriguez explains, “The ‘New Marion’ is a reinvigorated version of a beloved neighborhood gem. Our design celebrates Marion’s rich history while infusing it with modern sophistication. Inspired by iconic venues like Studio 54, we’ve used bold colors and playful elements to create a space that’s both familiar and refreshingly new. Marion’s evolution mirrors Miami’s dynamic spirit, promising guests unforgettable nights that reflect the city’s essence.”

The redesign introduces a sophisticated yet playful theme, featuring rich pinks and cozy tones to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Upon entering, guests will be greeted by fifteen custom Murano flower chandeliers, imported from Italy, which gracefully enhance the venue’s youthful and dynamic color scheme. As the night unfolds, the ceiling will transform into a colorful LED-paneled disco, amplifying the electric nightlife ambiance. The exterior has been entirely revamped to provide a renewed open-air dining ambiance, where lush foliage and comfortable seating enhance the venue’s radiant interior.

Marion is located at 1111 SW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33130. Opening hours are from 7 PM until late, Tuesday to Saturday.
