The Museum of Ice Cream, an ice cream-themed museum experience, is building on the success it showed in Miami with popups launched in 2017 and 2022. The MOIC will open a permanent Miami location at Miami Worldcenter in early 2024, according to recent coverage by the Miami New Times.

Miami will join four other cities with Museum of Ice Cream locations: New York, Chicago, Austin, and Singapore. MOIC Miami will occupy a two-story space of more than 14,000 square feet, offering immersive exhibits and Miami-inspired installations.

Museum of Ice Cream co-founder and co-CEO Manish Vora says, in the New Times coverage, that—in addition to its AI-augmented, highly immersive exhibition experiences—the MOIC’s Miami location will also be highly “interactive and advanced” in terms of food and beverage.

“When it comes to our new treat offerings, our lips are sealed — for now,” co-founder and co-CEO Maryellis Bunn says in the coverage. “What I can share with you is that we are dreaming up and bringing to life the most delectable and innovative sweet treats we’ve ever offered.”

The Museum of Ice Cream will open at 581 NE First Ave. in early 2024. Follow @museumoficecream on Instagram to keep up with MOIC news.
