New BBQ Concept Headed for Dade County

Everyone ready yourself for some Miami BBQ. What Now Miami confirmed a plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation for Smoke’d on Wednesday. Owner Arthur Friedman shared that he is planning to bring the new concept to the Miami area.

On the plan review, the address is listed as ​​4747 Collins Ave. However, it is unknown if this is exactly where the concept will appear, as this is a condominium building that doesn’t seem to have retail space. What Now is waiting on Friedman to confirm the location. 

According to Facebook, another eatery in the Miami Beach area bears the name Smoke’d BBQ, but Friedman said that his forthcoming restaurant has no relation to the eponymous one.

Details at this time are slim, as Friedman is still waiting on permits from the city to be approved before he can begin construction. He did not have an opening date to share.
