Alongside North Miami Beach Boulevard, on the southwest corner of Northeast 10th Avenue and Northeast 167th Street in North Miami Beach, a new kosher pizza restaurant is preparing to open its doors. A plan review was submitted recently by Assa Restaurants Inc. for Assa Restaurant Bakery at 992 NE 167th Street.
Assa comes from the same team that brought Miami Mama Pizza, a restaurant offering kosher pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and more at 19200 W Dixie Highway.
What Now reached out to a representative of Assa Restaurants Inc. on Tuesday to inquire about plans for the new North Miami Beach spot. The representative said Assa Restaurant will also be a kosher (dairy) pizza restaurant. It’s expected to open in about two months.
The 167th Street location is situated near PharmCo Rx in North Miami Beach, in a building that also houses Mini Market 10th Ave & Deli. On the other side of North Miami Beach Boulevard is Jefferson Plaza, which is home to eateries like Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Smoothie King.
