Located on the northwest corner of the intersection between North State Road 7 and Northwest 12th Street in Lauderhill, Lauderhill Mall looks to be preparing to welcome a new Caribbean restaurant into its retail and restaurant community. Paperwork was submitted recently by La Brise Des Antilles Culinary LLC for a restaurant at 4269 NW 12th Street.
What Now reached out to owner Yves Gousse on Tuesday to inquire about plans for La Brise des Antilles. Gousse confirmed news of the opening but was not immediately available to discuss the project.
What Now is awaiting more information, so stay tuned.
While no details are yet available on the menu, the restaurant’s name (the Breeze of the Antilles) is indicative, of course, of cuisine from the Caribbean.
Opening at Lauderhill Mall, La Brise des Antilles would join restaurants like Jerk Machine Lauderhill and Joy’s Roti Delight. Across Northwest 12th Street are Localicious Caribbean Ice Cream and Golden Krust Caribbean.
