New Salad Spot Looks to Be Opening in Fort Lauderdale

Located on Northwest Sixth Street between Northwest 14th Terrace and Northwest 14th Avenue, the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center appears to be the future home of a new salad concept. Paperwork shows Salad Boss opening at in Suite 7 at the community center’s address, 1409 NW Sixth Street.

“The Salad Boss, Inc was founded in August 2022 by Ronnie Hall through his passion for a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness, and affordable nutrition,” reads the Salad Boss website’s About Us page.

Salad Boss currently provides catering and meal plans, offering a menu of salads like the Grilled Chicken Caesar (Crisp Romaine, Sauteed Chicken, 4 toppings, 1 salad dressing), the Chef Salad (Crisp Romaine, Tomatoes, Carrots, Cheese, Boiled Egg, Turkey and Ham), and the Shrimp Salad (Choice of Green, Sauteed Shrimp, 4 toppings, 1 salad dressing). The menu also features a selection of wraps, quesadillas and smoothies.

What Now reached out to Ronnie Hall on Thursday to inquire about possible plans for a location at the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center. Hall was not immediately available for comment.
