Marina Village at Bahia Mar will soon start rolling out its long-awaited food hall concepts. The food hall is expected to open in May with roughly half of its food vendors in operation, says recent coverage by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, while the rest will open later in the summer.

The new food hall will feature concepts like dumpling brand Yip, Blue Steel Pizza Co., Fresh Garden Bowls, and Burgers & Shakes. Three additional concepts were announced last month: Taco Vibez, Sushi Song, and Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls.

Let’s take a closer look at a few of these brands.

Founded in 2014 by Dan Beck, “a lobster aficionado for more than 20 years,” Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls has grown to include at least 33 locations currently operating or under development—including at 401 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami. Now the franchise is expanding with a company-owned location at Marina Village at Bahia Mar, its second in South Florida.

The Biscayne Boulevard location serves the brand’s popular menu of rolls like the Classic Lobster Roll, served chilled with mayo and lemon butter; the Connecticut Roll, served warm, tossed in butter; the Lobster BLT Roll, with lobster, bacon, lettuce, and tomato; and the Bar Harbor, which invites you to Choose any Mason’s Famous Roll and get meat from a 1 1/4 lb. lobster – including tail.

“At Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, the focus is on simplicity and indulgence,” says the Our Lobster Tale page on the brand’s website. “Our lobster rolls are prepared according to tradition. With no bells, no whistles, and no pretention. And we serve them with only the basics: Lemon. Butter. Mayo. Maybe a little celery. Nothing extra to distract you. Just enough to seduce you.”

What Now reached out on Friday to Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls chief operating office Rusty Kurtov to ask about the details of the Marina Village location’s menu. Kurtov was not immediately available for comment.
