The meat specialists behind premium meat purveyor Meat N’ Bone and Miami’s Wagyu Bar are preparing to launch a sister restaurant, The Wagyu House. Featuring an unusually broad selection of cuts, along with an in-house Meat N’ Bone boutique butcher shop, the Wagyu House is expected to open at 601 N Federal Highway in Hallandale Beach this September.

“At a steakhouse, you’ll usually have ten steaks at best,” Meat N’ Bone Inc. CEO Luis Mata told What Now on Monday. “But because we have Meat N’ Bone, we get to change it up, play around with it.”
Mata says the Wagyu House will feature an ever-changing menu with anywhere from thirty to fifty steaks to choose from at a given time.
“That includes rare steaks, wagyu, dry-aged beef,” said Mata. “We’ll also have a very attractive lunch menu with really good price points.”
Describing itself as a “casual steakhouse,” the Wagyu Bar also focuses on offering a wide range of choices, including both more affordable cuts and rare, high end finds.
Mata says the new location will have a slightly higher-end feel than its sister restaurant, and will also feature a private room available for parties and special events. The interior design is still under development, but Mata estimated the finished space will seat about 95 guests.
