Lauderhill’s Grand Cypress Plaza, a small retail center on the western side of N University Drive, will soon be home to a new restaurant and hookah lounge. The Golden Lounge will open at 5101 N University Drive, offering food, drinks, hookah, and its signature Golden vibe.
What Now confirmed the news on the phone with a representative of Golden Vibe Lounge LLC on Tuesday. The representative said the menu will feature sweet and salty crepes and other cafe-style dishes, like a bagel with lox, along with an assortment of Caribbean dishes. The Golden vibe is then completed by a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, along with hookah.
Grand Cypress Plaza is also home to local businesses like Carom Billiards and Komodo Tae-Kwondo Kickboxing & MMA. Opening there, The Golden Lounge will join a thriving food and drink community that also includes—just across University Drive—Jass Cuban Cafe, Rancho Nando SteakHouse & Bar, and Donna’s Caribbean a short way up the road.
No official opening date has been announced for The Golden Lounge, but an opening is expected soon.
