Matthew Meltzer with Thrillist wrote a piece about the new distillery describing its beautiful interior. Meltzer describes Tropical Distillers as having “pastel walls, breezy back patios, palm trees, and plenty of neon.” Meltzer writes that it has “a wicker-lined bar [for] pouring drinks full of tropical fruit and Cuban coffee.”

And this isn’t going to be your average, run-of-the-mill distillery. In the article, Tropical Distillers CEO and owner Buzzy Sklar says that “It would’ve been easy to do a wall of wood barrels and throw some brick up and we probably could have had this place open six months ago,” but he explains that “we really wanted it to be a true Miami experience.”

To find out more about their drink selection, check out this link to their site. Listed under “coming soon” on the site is Tropical Distillers own gin, rum and Twin P Whiskey.

Tropical Distillers will be open to the public in August, as stated on their official site. To find out when the distillery will hold special events and experiences, check out this link. For more information about this exciting new spot, check out their official Instagram and Facebook pages.
