During a brief phone conversation, Davila confirmed that she will be moving her operation from her commercial kitchen, which is outfitted in her garage. Currently, her business bakes from orders she receives over the phone and email, but soon, customers will be able to come to a public space, place orders and buy pre-made goods.

Davila said that the new storefront will need a lot of electrical, plumbing, and other work to convert it into a bakery. An exact timeframe for when the space will open is unknown.

In the meantime, south Florida customers can still place orders for Davila’s wedding cakes and other special goods through her social media or website.
